Newborn foal at Brendon Hill
The stud at Brendon Hill has been established for  fifty plus years and originated with the breeding of tough, sound horses for the hunting field.  With the arrival of the stallion, Ben Faerie, the stud then became responsible for the breeding of many successful Advanced event horses including three Olympic contenders.
Priceless was obviously the most famous horse we bred, with his Olympic bronze individual and team silver medal and World Championship gold, as well as winning Badminton and twice at Burghley.

Brendon Hill Farm prides itself on the personal care and attention given to the visitng mares during their time at stud. All the stud work and foaling is personally supervised by the owners. Foaling is undertaken in large airy boxes with the help of cameras.

The stud is part of a big stock farm where the mares are grazed over a large acreage allowing plenty of space for shy or nervous mares. At the end of the stud season the ground is stocked with sheep and cattle to prevent over grazing by horses.

We always have a selection of good young horses from foals to five year olds for sale.

As well as taking mares for putting in foal and foaling, we take foals for weaning and we are also happy to take mares or youngstock for short or long term grass or stabled livery.
For further details on the stallions, please contact us by email or telephone, and we will be happy to send information or discuss your requirements. We are always happy to hear news of our stallion's progeny so please do keep us informed.
